Primary Responsibilities of a Data Analyst I

Analysis of marketing promotions relating to direct mail or other channels; customer segmentation; direct mail and telemarketing list preparation; database construction, database maintenance. Tasks include:

  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of analyses for client presentations; attend client web meetings.
  • Prepare segmentation and other analyses.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, primarily through phone and email.
  • Develop response, cross sell, and other statistical models.
  • Prepare promotion response reports.
  • Receive data and convert to workable file formats.
  • Standardize addresses, clean names, and perform merge/purge.
  • Perform monthly data updates for client databases.
  • Prepare mail files for subscription and/or single ticket promotions.
  • Map customer data and perform geographic analyses.
